London Restaurant Festival October 2026: menus, events and booking choices
London Restaurant Festival’s October 2026 edition offers different ways to dine: restaurant menu offers, neighbourhood experiences and separately ticketed events. Choose the format first; a festival label does not establish that every option has the same price, eligibility or booking process.
Checked: 6 October 2026. Best for: choosing a specific dining experience this month. Review: the exact event date, menu, eligibility and cancellation terms before paying.
Festival menu or timed experience?
The current operator site promotes festival menus throughout October alongside event series. A menu offer generally requires selecting a restaurant and its terms; an event can have a fixed start time, hosted format or several components.
Decide whether you want a normal meal at a selected restaurant or an organised occasion. If the dining itself is the priority, a complicated event itinerary may add little. If meeting a chef, a masterclass or a curated route is the attraction, read exactly what is included.
Use the current programme categories
The organiser lists categories including Neighbourhood Nights, Discover Tours, In Residence and Masterclasses. These are useful filters for the kind of evening you want, not promises that every listing still has tickets.
A neighbourhood experience may fit a visitor wanting to explore one district. A hotel restaurant event can suit a more contained evening. A masterclass requires attention to the actual activity, duration and any age conditions.

Check eligibility before making plans
The current site describes Top Ten Cuisines as Amex-exclusive and identifies an Amex presale. Do not assume all festival experiences are open to every payment method or that every offer is restricted in the same way. Read the selected product’s conditions.
If a booking requires a qualifying card or membership, verify that before arranging travel around it. A partner’s points-redemption product may also differ from a cash booking. This guide does not advise buying a financial product to attend a meal.
Compare the complete bill
Look for the number of courses, drink inclusion, service charge, dietary alternatives and any extras. A set-menu price is useful only when compared with the meal you would otherwise order. A saving on a meal you did not want is not automatically a good choice.
For two people or a group, calculate the total and read deposit and cancellation rules. Clarify whether the reservation is for one person, two guests or a fixed party size. Do not assume a festival ticket covers travel or an overnight stay unless the product says so.
Dietary and access checks
Contact the restaurant about allergies and other essential requirements before purchase, particularly for a fixed menu. A themed event may have less flexibility than ordinary à-la-carte dining. A vegetarian option does not establish an allergy-safe kitchen.
Check the actual dining room’s access and location. A hotel or restaurant group may have several London venues, and a familiar brand name is not a usable street address. Put the exact venue and start time in your plan.
Make it one coherent evening
Choose a nearby walk or a short neighbourhood visit before the meal, rather than an inflexible attraction immediately afterwards. Hosted meals can run longer than an ordinary dinner. Check your final transport connection if an evening event ends late.
For a Shoreditch visit, use the neighbourhood guide. For a simpler food day without an event booking, compare London’s food-market formats.
Current source and expiry

This article is an October 2026 planning guide; after the month it should be treated as an archive, not evidence that the same events recur in the next edition.
