Editorial Standards

How we choose and check information

Our readers should be able to understand why a place is included and how information was checked. We organise guides around a useful visitor decision, rather than lists designed only to attract searches. Recommendations should explain who a place or route suits, its limitations, and the cost or booking choices that matter.

We check opening hours, access arrangements, admission and travel advice against primary sources such as the venue, transport operator or public authority. Practical guides include source links and a checked date. Schedules, prices and access can change; the relevant official source takes precedence over an older guide.

Reporting, planning and first-hand experience

A researched planning guide is identified as such. We do not invent visits, first-hand reviews, quotations or photographs of real venues. Opinion should be distinguished from verified information, and an image should not imply a visit or endorsement that did not happen. Draft material requires editorial review before publication.

Corrections and updates

Send corrections to hello@londonfound.com with the article title or URL, the detail that may be wrong and an official source where possible. We review credible corrections and update practical information when a material change is confirmed. Event listings require a final date, availability and cancellation check before publication.

Commercial independence and disclosure

Paid placements, gifted experiences and affiliate relationships must be identified clearly when applicable. A commercial connection does not replace factual checks or justify unsupported claims. London Found and PRIVE share ownership; relevant links are explained in our Commercial Disclosure. We do not present PRIVE as an independent recommendation or an official partner of a venue.

Images and accessibility

Use photographs with documented permission or a suitable licence, keep source and credit records, and write useful alternative text. Travel guides should link to official accessibility information where relevant and avoid guaranteeing a step-free route without checking the full journey.
